DO - Doubled Off

When a player fails to tag up on a caught fly ball or line drive, they will be doubled off if they are unable to return to the base before the ball gets there.

HBT - Hidden Ball Trick

Oh yeah baby.

RI - Runner Interference

If a runner interferes with the fielder while he is trying to field or throw the ball and is called out.

GFT(F) - Going for Two/Three (or Four)

When a batter reaches base safely but attempts unsuccessfully to reach second, third, or home.

IA - Imprudent Advance

When a runner tries unsuccessfully to advance to second, third, or home in a non-force-play. This category does not include plays where runner(s) were put out as a result of an outstanding defensive play, poor luck, or a calculated but fruitless risk.

SFDP - Sac Fly Double Play

A type of Imprudent Advance where a runner is thrown out at home plate after tagging up on a fly ball/line drive that was plainly too shallow.

HBB - Hit by Batted Ball

When a runner is struck by a batted ball and called out.

PO - Picked Off

When a runner is picked off any base by the pitcher or catcher. The official scoring of some of these plays may be "caught stealing."

UN - Uncategorized or Unique

A type of TOOTBLAN that has not been seen before or does not fall into any category.
